Dr. Peter Hryciuk, chiropractor at Royal York Chiropractic and Massage Therapy is pleased to announce a new addition to our lineup of adjusting techniques. As Etobicoke chiropractor for over 30 years, using a gentle-hands-on approach to wellness, he also can provide patients with an even gentler approach, using the Arthrostim adjusting tool.
It produces rapid, 12-14 impulses or mini-thrusts per second, effectively faster and gentler than a hands-onadjustive thrust delivered by a chiropractor. These impulses, when directed at the vertebral subluxation, stimulate the area and the joint mechanoreceptors to promote improved range of motion and stimulate healing. The device is great for babies, infants and young children, sensitive patients, patients suffering acute pain as well as patients who don’t like traditional chiropractic “clicking” sounds. Instrument based adjusting can be used 100% on its own, at all regions of the body, including extremities and can be added in to enhance the traditional chiropractic adjustment. Dr. Peter even has a protocol to help with “text neck” and the detrimental effects of forward head posture (FHP).
Some of the conditions that the Arthrostim can be used for include; headaches, neck pain, shoulder pain, upper extremity pain, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain, rib and mid-back pain, lower back and hip pain and lower extremity pain.
The Arthrostim is recommended by over 20 chiropractic technique systems and utilized by many of the most advanced chiropractors on the planet.
Dr. Peter is one of only a few chiropractors in Toronto, Etobicoke, Bloor West Village and Kingsway areas that has this new technology.
Serving patients in these areas for over 30 years, he can be reached at docpete@spinalhealth.com
